Reserve space NOW... to display your company or organization’s products, programs, information or services at Ohio's largest conference by and about people with disabilities. The TENTH biennial SOLIDARITY conference is expecting as many as 600 attendees, including:
- Individuals with disabilities - Service providers - Family members - Community representatives - Employers
The conference program offers workshops on a variety of topics from Civil Rights, Education, Employment and Leadership to accessing technology and careers, panel presentations, plenary sessions, and entertainment. Multiple breaks and browse times give the attendees and visitors a chance to explore exhibit hall and displays.
Exhibits at Solidarity ’09 will be divided into two areas:
1. Vendors: Fees for vendors of products and retail services is $350. The exhibit hall will be located in the Delaware Room on the 2nd floor of the hotel on Wednesday, April 15th.
2. Nonprofits, colleges and Small Business owned by People with Disabilities: Fee is $175. These exhibits will be located on the 2nd floor on Tuesday, April 14 and April 15in the large hallways extending from the Registration tables outside to the workshop areas.
The conference will provide a 6-foot draped table for each display. There will not be any security after exhibit hours. A minimum number of tables with electric access are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Your contract and check/purchase order must be received by March 15, 2009. Space is limited to fifty exhibitors and is sold on a first come basis—so register early. You’ll receive confirmation and details after processing your application.
Exhibitors are expected to:
- Have one company representative at the display during conference hours. This person must be knowledgeable about the product(s) or organization and be able to field questions.
- Have as many "hands-on" devices as possible available for visitors to experience.
- Have literature and resources available in print and in alternate formats for visitors to take with them.
Exhibit Hours:
All vendors, Wednesday, April 15, 2009, 9 am - 4:30 pm. Set up time 8 am - 9:00 am - Tear down at 4:30 - 5 pm.
Exhibit hours for non profits: Tuesday, April 14 and 15 from 9am - 4:30 pm and Wednesday for a $175 if they wish to. Set up time on Tuesday would be at 9 and tear down at 5 pm.
